Enough experience to safely ride in a group and enough fitness to handle a couple hours of drills and riding
Learning how to jump and land your mountain bike is just like any other skill. Through controlled progressive drills you will learn the techniques to be in control as you get comfortable with getting your wheels off the ground.
We will begin with learning a couple different front wheel lifts and rear wheel lifts and putting them together for a bunny hop. We will start learning the proper body position to be off the ground through a series of small drops and learn the bike control needed to land safely. From there we will learn how to load and unweight the bike to get height and distance on super safe tabletop jumps with varied controlled landings. You will leave with the understanding of the techniques that will have you getting AIR and what to practice.
You will not be asked to ride over your head. All techniques are learned on safe and controlled trail features or manufactured cycling teaching obstacles. This is a progressive based system that enables riders of all levels the ability to improve their skills in a controlled and non-intimidating setting.
You should be fully comfortable riding your bike and enough modest fitness to handle a few hours of drills and learning. Have a properly working Mountain Bike or E-MTB-bike, Helmet, food and water and anything you may personally need to get you through the session. 18 years and and up without prior approval.
